Grain-Free Banana Applesauce Muffin

Banana Applesauce MuffinsGrain-free banana applesauce muffins are kid-friendly and also a favorite with adults.

Grain-Free Banana Applesauce Muffins

  • 2 cups <a href="http://amzn.to/1EeIkYM" target="_blank">almond flour</a>
  • 3 tbsp <a href="http://amzn.to/1NxqdAb" target="_blank">coconut flour</a>
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup <a href="http://amzn.to/1hDarXP" target="_blank">coconut sugar</a>
  • 1/4 cup <a href="http://amzn.to/1PNvCl3" target="_blank">coconut oil</a>
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In one mixing bowl, mix the bananas, egg, applesauce, sugar and oil in one bowl.
  3. In the 2nd bowl mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
  5. Mix and add to a muffin pan.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 mins.
  7. This recipe will make 12 muffins.
