Spring is Here

April 13, 2019 By //  by Dishing For Real

Are you Spring Cleaning?

It is the first day of Spring while I am writing this and I am so excited! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the temps are rising. And in my mind I see the wonderful potential for new beginnings.

So it is time to start spring cleaning, right? In the past, it always felt like I would ditch all the things I had collected over the winter and give my home the deep clean it deserved. But what else? Shouldn’t we be spring cleaning other areas of our lives? And many of us already do.

Check out some of these areas to start

Eating Habits – Now is a great time to reset some of those healthy eating habits and incorporate some new amazing nutrient dense foods you have been missing this winter. Don’t forget while you are spring cleaning your home….give your pantry and fridge a refresh with some healthier options.

Exercise – It isn’t too cold anymore, so now is a great time to get outside. What I love about exercise outside is that you are able to soak up some amazing vitamin D in the process. If you want to join a gym, that is great too– either way, get that body moving.

Relationships – It is a new season and time to ditch those toxic relationships. Focus on filling your life with people who lift you up and help you grow.

Money – Do you still have a holiday hangover with your money? Spring is a great time to set a budget and get back on track with your finances.

Clutter – This is one that goes right great with the deep cleaning of your home. Donate or sell what you do not need. Excess does not bring happiness.

A new season has sprung! It is time to grow into who you want to become. Take this opportunity to review your future goals and take the positive steps to get there.

What are YOU cleaning up this Spring?
